Join the Cherry Hills Village Parks, Trails, and Recreation Commission on May 3rd for a family-friendly scavenger hunt throughout John Meade Park and nearby bridle trails. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon.
Choose from two scavenger hunt adventures:
John Meade Park Scavenger Hunt
This self-guided journey encourages explorers of all ages to discover the park's natural wonders at their own pace. All participants recieve a prize. Additional entertainment includes face painting, various lawn games, and tasty snacks.
Trails Scavenger Hunt
The Trail Scavenger Hunt presents a thrilling challenge for both individuals and teams. Participants will embark on an exploration of the nearby bridle trails, covering approximately 3 miles in search of medallions hidden on fenceposts and bollards. Hunters who return by the 11:45 a.m. cutoff stand a chance to win $100 gift cards for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
Even more prizes are up for grabs- even if you don't finish in the top 3! All participants who finish on time will be entered to win a gift card/ gift basket and every participant will be rewarded with a tree seedling to plant.
To keep the energy high, there will be a coffee station and snacks available in the park for everyone's enjoyment.
